feel accepted. A camp where staff and campers hang out and laugh
together. A camp where the workshops are challenging and entertaining
at the same time. A camp where important decisions are made by the
entire community, where your voice truly matters.
Now imagine if that was just the beginning. Imagine that during this
camp you could enter into a completely new personality and interact in
an epic adventure more real than any video game or movie. A
role-playing experience that transcends anything you have experienced.
A new world to explore, evil to conquer, wounds to heal, treasures to
obtain, magic to cast...where the action and the story itself depends
entirely on your choices.
We wanted that place too, so we started The Wayfinder Experience. Read

Interactions at the Wayfinder Experience are based on Improvisational Theatre ("Improv"), a free-flowing form of acting in which there is no set script. (You may be familiar with Improv from the Comedy Central show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?") Our staff will introduce you to Improv through entertaining (and often hysterical) games and provide you with a sense of confidence in your improvisational abilities. During the experience, participants are given a chance to become the characters they create and to participate in numerous scenes and interactions. Many actors and actresses have hailed the Wayfinder Experience as "one of the most valuable and necessary training exercises an actor or actress can participate in".

For those of you who enjoy rugged activity, the Wayfinder Experience is perfect for you. From large games of Capture the Flag, to mass battle enactments, we challenge our participants to push themselves to their physical limits, while ensuring a safe and fun time for all. The true challenge lies in our culminating game, as participants are granted the opportunity to defeat enemies, defend strongholds, and dash through this new world in a desperate race to complete their quest.

If you have seen or read and enjoyed Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Willow, The Dark Crystal, Camelot, Legend, Labyrinth or any fantasy-based movie or book, you will be ecstatic at the chance to enter the very worlds you had only previously watched from a distance. The Wayfinder Experience allows participants to become the heroes they adore, and to battle the villains they despise.

All of our workshops are conducted in beautiful, natural settings whose atmosphere only adds to the brilliance of the experience itself. Participants quickly acquire an appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors, as well as confidence in their familiarity with their environment. From hiking to mountain climbing to star gazing to sitting around a bonfire, the Wayfinder Experience utilizes its environment to engage participants in the wonders of nature.

The Wayfinder Experience is a totally immersive entertainment experience, one that transforms interaction from a flat-screen into reality. Instead of viewing and interacting with the world through a controller, participants experience adventure through their own eyes. It's like living inside your favorite fantasy video game.

Like most workshops, the Wayfinder Experience promotes a setting in which participants may form lasting bonds with new friends. However, due to its interactive nature, Wayfinder provides a unique opportunity for participants to bond not only in this world, but in many others. With an emphasis on community awareness, trust exercises, and cooperative play, the Wayfinder Experience guarantees that participants will walk away with friendships that will last a lifetime. We should know; our staff is comprised of former participants who, ten years later, remain a community of close friends.
